Many users who have upgraded to iOS 6.1.4 have noticed decreased battery life. Users have reported that the battery seem to drain much quicker than usual. Reset Network Settings
- Settings > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Disable Bluetooth
- Settings > Bluetooth > Off
Disable Location Services
- Settings > Privacy > Location Services and disable for services you don’t use
Disable Notifications
- Settings > Notifications > Turn OFF for anything you don’t use
Disable Time Zone Adjustment
- Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Setting Time Zone > Off
Disable Diagnostic & Usage Reports
- Settings > General > About > Diagnostic & Usage > Don’t Send

Disable Find my Mac or iPad or iPhone
- Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Find My iPhone > Off
Kill Power Hungry Apps
- Some app may be running continuously in background, causing battery drain (e.g., Pandora). Figure out which app it is and kill it.
Exchange Accounts
- Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar, tap on the Accounts (iCloud, Exchange or other mail accounts ) and turn off everything (all of the switches) one by one. Restart your phone by pressing and holding the on/off button. Then go back to Settings and turn the switches back on. Wait an hour, then check the battery again.
