Using Photo Stream

Photo Stream is an awesome feature that was announced with iOS 5 and iCloud. With Photo Stream, whenever you take a photo on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, it’s automatically uploaded to Apple’s iCloud servers and streamed to all of your Mac and iOS devices.

Photo Stream doesn’t count against your iCloud storage. Lastly, Photo Stream stores 1000 pictures for up to thirty days in the cloud. After your photos are deleted from Apple’s iCloud servers, they still remain on your device’s internal memory.

In this tutorial we will be showing you how to setup Photo Stream on your iOS and Mac OS X devices. This tutorial requires an iOS device running iOS 5 and/or a Mac running OS X Lion.

NOTE: You must be signed into an iCloud account on your Mac or iOS device. You can do this through the Settings app.
