Facebook Hello – Caller ID Blocking APK (Unsupported Countries)

Facebook, after dominating the market with its Messenger app which has essentially replaced the stock SMS app for sending and receiving text messages, now wants to do the same thing with the phone app. Hello is the latest app from Facebook that aims to replace the stock phone app on your device. Its function is very simple – it can make and receive phone calls.

However, it has some neat features that make it better than the stock phone app. Facebook Hello combines the contact info on your phone with the info of Facebook servers to provide you the best experience possible. If someone is calling your phone and you don’t have that number registered, you will still be able to see who’s calling, thanks to Facebook’s profile information.

Facebook Hello includes the usual options like the ability to block unwanted calls, search contacts from your phone and Facebook profile without having to switch between apps and the best thing is that it is free. A neat feature is that Facebook Hello automatically blocks calls from numbers that have been blocked by different users before.

The app is available on the Play Store and you can download it right now. Simply head over to the play store and search for “Facebook Hello”. You can also directly go to the Play Store page by clicking on this link.

At the moment, “Facebook Hello – Caller ID & Blocking” is not available for all countries. If you search for the app on the Play Store and nothing shows up, it means that it is not available on your country. Unfortunately, Facebook doesn’t have any dates when the app will become available worldwide.

Luckily, the APK file of the app (1.0.0.4.0) has been released. So even if you live on an unsupported country, you can download and install the APK file.

Download the APK file, enable “Unknown Sources” from the settings menu and install the application. The APK file is signed by Facebook which means it is safe to install.
