Today, after months of testing, Apple released iOS 12.3 to the general public. Following all of the hype surrounding the iOS 12 A12 jailbreak, we now turn our attention to iOS 12.3. Today’s iOS 12.3 marks the eighth update to iOS 12 since its release last fall. The new iOS 12.3 firmware includes a radically redesigned TV app for Apple’s upcoming TV+ service.
Additionally the update includes changes to AirPlay 2 and a number of bug and security fixes. iOS 12.3 even launches in conjunction with Samsung’s corresponding Apple TV application and AirPlay 2.
Can we Jailbreak iOS 12.3?
But what about jailbreaking? Can we finally jailbreak the latest iOS 12 firmware once again with the release of iOS 12.3? Unfortunately the answer is a resounding “no”, it is not possible to jailbreak iOS 12.3 (yet). The last jailbreak for iOS 12 supports up to iOS 12.1.2 on all devices, but doesn’t include anything newer (12.1.3, 12.1.4, 12.2, and now 12.3).
We’ve recently discussed new developments pertaining to an iOS 12.2 jailbreak demo. While said developments are merely a theoretical demonstration of jailbreaking on iOS 12.2, they do provide some hope. Hypothetically speaking, if the exploits used in the aforementioned demo were published by the likes of security researchers, we may get a new jailbreak. That’s a big “if”, but it’s happened before!

iOS 12.3 Jailbreak Warning
If you’re already jailbroken on iOS 12 – 12.1.2, avoid updating to iOS 12.3 at all costs! In fact, to take it a step further, install the tvOS beta profile to bypass iOS updates entirely.
