How to fix Wi-Fi connection issues following iOS 9.2 upgrade

The new iOS9.2 upgrade promises a lot of benefits, most notably the performance and speed of your device. There are however number of issues that has been reported by users who upgraded to iOS 9.2 in the last few weeks.


One issue that seems to occur is around the wi-fi. Users have reported intermittent connection issues in their ipad and iphones. We have also seen similar issues reported after major iOS upgrades.


We are suggesting that you try to rest your network settings, make sure your router is working and make sure your DNS addresses are correct.


Step- >1. Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset Network Settings


Step-> 2. Switch your device to Aeroplane mode, wait for a minute and change it back


Step-> 3. Settings > Wi-Fi > Select your connection > Tap Forget this Network at the top of the screen.


Step-> 4. Reset your wi-fi router and wait for a few minutes and then turn it on. Also make sure that your router is upgraded with the latest firmware.


Step-> 5. Try reconnecting/rejoining to your network


Step-> 6. Change DNS Setting. Settings > Wi-Fi > Tap on the (i) button to the right of the router name > Scroll down to DNS and tap the numbers, then enter “8.8.8.8”.

Step-> 7. If none of the above steps work, try restoring and setting it up as a new device.
