iOS 7 Lag on iPhone 4

Apple Inc. says that their new iOS 7 will work just fine on iPhone 4 and all later versions.  But after visiting the Apple forum, we can see that the picture is somewhat different. Most of the iPhone 4 devices are somewhat struggling to keep up with the hardware demands of the latest iOS 7. And after researching on this problem, it seems like we have come up with the fix for this reported iOS 7 lag.

Problem:

After the release of the most anticipated mobile OS from Apple, some of the negative comments rose up on the fact that the new iOS 7 runs super slow for some users when they upgraded to iOS 7 from the previous version on iPhone 4 hardware. The main complaint that has arisen about this topic is it has been a huge input lag on the virtual keyboard of the OS.

A user in the Apple Forum complained that there is at least a 5 to 15 second delay on whenever he uses the virtual keyboard to type just anything. It is an awful situation. Some users wish that they could downgrade from it and go back to their previous OS.

Solution:

There is a quick fix to this problem. Go to the iCloud settings and then just simply disable ‘documents and data’. That fixes all virtual keyboard problems regarding iOS 7 on iPhone 4.

Some iPhone 4 users tried this “weird but true fix” and we are delighted to lend a helping hand towards them. They all attempted to solve this problem via our solution.

A more surprising fact is that the weird but true fix seems to work for everyone. Many of the commenters replied that they had a 100% success with this solution and they are using iOS 7 on their iPhone 4 without any problems. And now, we are encouraging everyone who is facing this problem to go ahead and just give it a try on their beloved handsets.

Recently, some of the iPad, iPhone, and iPod users gave our solution a try and most of them succeeded. This method really works! A user chimed in with a more detailed description of the problem and said that this solution worked correctly on his iPad. The actual problem is not the iPhone 4 or its hardware configuration. The actual problem is iOS 7 because it requires highly configured devices like iPhone 5 or iPod Touch 5th Generation to work smoothly.

Any phone is pretty useless if a user can’t operate it properly due to software issues, especially when we’re talking about iPhones. So whenever you face a problem with your iOS, try to solve it as soon as possible.
