Several users — especially U.S. Verizon users — have reported that the date and time on their iPhone is not functioning properly, meaning that the iPhone is displaying the incorrect day or time, and sometimes jumping ahead of time or behind the actual time.
If you are having a similar issue, try the following tips:
Tap Settings > General > Date & Time and turn off the “Set Automatically” setting and set the time. Note: do not turn this setting back on.
If you are still having the time issue, try this:
- Tap Settings > General > Date & Time> tap to turn on 24 hour time.
- Settings > General > Reset > Tap “Reset Network Settings” (Your phone will restart).
- Restart your iPhone.
If you are still having the problem:
Some users have reported that turning LTE off fixes this problem. You may want to try that.
