Apple has recently announced the premier of the seventh generation iPod Nano. Apple describes this as the “thinnest iPod nano yet”. Some of the key features are:

What is a Lightning to USB cable?
You can use the Lightning to USB cable to charge your iPod nano (7th generation) with the USB Adapter, PC or Mac computer, and other USB-enabled car accessories and to sync your content (e.g. Music) with iTunes on your computer.
How to use Multi-Touch
If you’ve used other iOS devices (iPhone, iPad); you will have no trouble. Basically, tap an icon or an item to open. Tap twice to zoom in and out. Swipe to move to the next or previous screen, flick your finger to scroll up and down quickly.
How to use Bluetooth on iPod nano
You can also connect your device to compatible Bluetooth accessories (e.g. headsets, speakers, and hands-free systems in some cars). To do so, tap Settings > Bluetooth and your device will search for available Bluetooth devices. To remove a device, tap Settings > Bluetooth, tap the device from the list and then tap “”Forget this Device.”
How to use FM radio
First connect EarPods or headphones to the iPod nano (the device uses the headphone cord as an antenna), then tap Radio.
How to use voice memos
You can create voice memos with your iPod nano. Voice memos can be labeled and synced to iTunes. You will see the Voice Memos icon when you connect a microphone.
Shake
This feature allows you to shuffle your music by shaking your iPod nano from side to side. To disable this feature tap Settings > Music and toggle off “Shake to Shuffle”.
In short, iPod nano is a great compact portable media playing device that offers a familiar smartphone-style interface and it is available for $149.
