One of the biggest issues that users are reporting is the absence of Google Maps. Instead, Apple replaced Google Maps with Apple Maps. Although Apple Maps looks promising, Google Maps is better in mapping technology, so you may want to use Google Maps instead of Apple Maps. Note that as of now, Google has not created an independent app for users to download and use, so you cannot just go to the App Store and download the Google Maps app. But you can do this:
- Launch Safari
- Visit maps.google.com (link)
- Add Google Maps to your home screen by tapping the arrow button and selecting “Add to Home Screen”
- You will see the Google Maps icon on your screen. Open Google Maps by tapping on this icon.
