Several of the new iPad (iPad 3) users have reported that their device gets abnormally hot. Under normal conditions, your iPad should be cool; however, it is usual for it to get warm when charging and under heavy use. Apple is aware of this issue and denied that the tablet overheats. Please note that you need to store your iPad in a place where the temperature is between -20º and 45º C. However, if your iPad gets unusually hot, contact Apple support ASAP.
