1-Define:
iOS 5 now has a built in dictionary. Don’t know a word, don’t worry. Highlight it and tap on the Define option where you can see the definition.
2-App Size:
iOS devices offer limited space. And you may want to know how much space exactly an app is using. Tap Settings > General > Usage. You may also tap on any app to find out the App Size in more detail.
3-Split the iPad’s Keyboard:
You can split the iPad’s keyboard for a different typing experience. To do this simply tap and hold on the dismiss keyboard button.
4-Create Your Own Shortcuts:
To create your own shortcuts, Tap Settings > General > Keyboard > Add New Shortcut. For instance you could enter atbc and have it auto-correct to “Apple Toolbox”.
5-Instantly Scroll up to the top of a web page, app, or screen in iOS:
Are you reading end of a long page and you want to scroll up? Simply tap on the title bar clock and you will immediately scroll up to the top.
6-Emoji:
iOS 5 has finally added a built-in Emoji keyboard. To enable simply tap Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards >Add New Keyboard, and find and add Emoji.
7-Name:
You can now change iOS device name via Settings > General > About > Name.
8-“Find on Page” with safari:
If you want to find a text on a web page with Safari on iPad, iPod or iPhone, you may use Find on Page feature. To do that simply tap search box, “Find on Page” feature will open.
