Several people have reported Safari crashes constantly after updating iOS 5 on iPad.
Fix:
- Try clearing Safari’s History, Cookies, and Cache.
- Turn off bookmarks sync in iCloud, if it has been on.
Previously reported fixes
Turn off AutoFill: Go to Settings > Safari > AutoFill and turn all options off.
Close unused Safari windows.
Reboot (hard reset). Hold down the sleep/wake and home buttons simultaneously for roughly 15-20 seconds.
Reset all settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Note that this will erase stored messages, passwords and other information.
