Manage your iOS Location Services

With all the talk of iOS tracking users’ locations, most people will either be shutting off location services, or at least taking a better look at what apps are tracking their location. Viewing the apps that are or have tracked your location is fairly easy; all you have to do is:

0.     Open the settings app

1.     (If you’re on the AT&T iPhone, skip to the next step) Tap “General”.

2.     Then tap “Location Services”.

Inside Location Services will be a list of all apps that can access your location, and then next to the app name there is a compass arrow. The arrow means that that app has accessed your location within the last 24 hours. You can choose whether the app can access your location or not, and that’s it. That’s all it takes, so now you can go and hand pick what apps will know where you are! Happy hiding!
