The popular EdgeLighting+ app has been updated to the latest version and finally brings support for the camera cutout on the Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10 Plus. This has been a highly requested feature by users who were disappointed that the S10 did not have an LED notification light. There was no way for the users to know if they had missed a notification or not without turning the screen on.
Samsung EdgeLighting+ version 1.0.21 has taken care of this issue. If you do not know, EdgeLighting+ is a Good Lock app that allows you to customize the edge lighting effect on your Galaxy phone. The new update includes all of the old features including a new option that adds a lighting effect around the camera cutout.

- Download the APK file from the download link above.
- Transfer the file to the internal storage of your phone.
- Go to File Manager and find the directory where the file is located.
- Tap on the app and select “Install”.
- Once the app has been installed, go to the app drawer and tap on the app icon to launch it.
The app allows you to greatly customize the lighting effect. There are many effects to choose from such as Wave, Bubble, Multicolour, Glitter, Boomerang, Galaxy, Loop, and Celebrate. The new update also offers Eclipse effect which is the option that supports the hole-punch cutout. You can also choose from a wide array of pre-set or custom colors. There is also an option that changes the duration of the lighting effect from short to long.
This is one of the many ways you can choose to take advantage of the camera cutout. There are other apps that do the same thing, though none of them is made or supported by Samsung.
