Xposed is the most popular framework among Android fans. It allows users to install different modules which can completely change a phone’s functionality, UI and the overall user experience; all this with just root access.
Just recently, Xposed got updated to fully support Android 7.0 and 7.1 Nougat. This means users who have a Nougat mobile phone and root access, can install Xposed as well as all their favorite modules. There are plenty of useful modules online, but one of the most popular modules alongside GravityBox is Amplify.
Amplify’s job is to take full control over system wakelocks, such as “NlpWakelock” and “NlpCollectorWakeLock”. These wakelocks prevent the phone from going to sleep when you aren’t using it, thus draining a lot of battery juice. Improving battery life is one of the main reasons why users install Amplify, and if you have a Nougat 7.0 or 7.1 phone, you should do the same.
