If you like your brand new OnePlus 6T but do not like the fact that it does not have Always On Display, then you can install a Magisk module to enable this feature on your phone. The OnePlus 6T is the latest device by OnePlus. It has an almost all-screen display with a teardrop cutout at the top for the camera sensor. The display is Optic AMOLED with a screen size of 6.41″ and a resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels.
Given that it is an AMOLED panel, it should have Always On Display, right? Always On Display is a feature on AMOLED phones where the phone shows the clock and other features all the time. Even though the screen is on and never turns off, it doesn’t use a lot of battery since the display is AMOLED, which means only a few pixels are actually on.
For some reason, the OnePlus 6T does not have Always On Display. Many users have complained to the company about this issue, but they haven’t given any response back. AOD is a very useful feature that everyone uses. It makes it easy for users to check if they have any new notifications without having to pick up the phone. Given this, it is understandable for users to ask for this feature.
Lucklily, developers have created a Magisk module which enables AOD on all OnePlus 6T devices. All you have to do is to install the module and then enable it. Once you restart the phone, you will get to enjoy the new feature.
