Everyone is excited about the all new Android M. Google worked very hard to provide the best user experience to users and it has done a great job with Android M. Users are looking forward to using Android M on their devices thanks to new options like Project Brillo and Doze mode which provide better connectivity with other devices and increased battery life.
If you have a Nexus 5, Nexus 6 or Nexus 9 you can go ahead and get a taste of Android M by installing the developer preview image. For many users Android M developer preview is quite stable, even though there are many bugs and a few features have been disabled and will not work until the official release by Google.
If you aren’t fortunate to have a Nexus device at the moment to flash the Android M developer preview image, do not worry. Developers over at XDA have pulled the most important system applications from the system image and made them compatible with Android Lollipop and KitKat devices.
If you own an Android device running on Lollipop or KitKat, you can enjoy some Android M software goodies like the new redesigned launcher, boot animation, camera app, ringtones and Google Play Services.
Most of the applications will work on all devices, including stock Android, LG UI, TouchWiz and HTC Sense. If you are feeling adventurous, senior member has posted a full Android M app zip package, so you can test all the applications, even though this is not recommended since some apps might not work.
