Nokia HERE maps has received positive opinions since HERE released the app for Android and made it available for all devices. At first, HERE maps was available only for certain Samsung Galaxy phones.
When the APK was available for Samsung Galaxy phones, people tried to port it to other devices and this had a huge success. Many people were able to install the HERE maps on other devices too.

Because of high demand, HERE released the app for all Android devices a week later. The app had thousands of downloads and people gave positive opinions about it.
But a few people started to report a few problems. First of all, the app wasn’t optimized for Android 5.0 Lollipop. Users who had installed it on a 5.0 Lollipop ROM reported crashes and force closes.
Another problem was with the caching system. HERE maps is known for its smart offline navigation system. Even though your Android phone doesn’t have internet connection, you can use the offline navigation menu by downloading the map.
When users cleaned cache using an app cleaner, the app would delete offline navigation files too. With the new update, Nokia HERE maps adds support for Android 5.0 Lollipop and also fixes the caching problem.

Along those patches, the new update also brings stability improvements. The app is even more stable and force closes shouldn’t occur very often.
