How To Fix LG G3 Screen Touch Sensitivity Problem

The LG G3 has a fantastic QHD LCD display with resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels which leads to a ppi of 534 pixels per inch making it one of the most dense displays on the market. However, this is the only good thing and advantage of the LG G3 display.


Other than that, it has a lot of problems that many users have reported like bad viewing angles, low maximum brightness, sharpened images and washed out colors. The most recent problem LG G3 users are reporting is screen responsivity issue. When you tap on the screen, the phone will not recognize touches.

So you are unable to use your phone because the display is totally broken. No matter how much pressure and how strong you tap on the screen, the phone will not recognize any of your fingers. The good news is that the problem is well-known and there are plenty of solutions to fix the screen touch problem on the LG G3.


1. Factory Reset


If you are a long time Android user, you know what to do first when your phone is having a problem. Factory reset fixes every possible software problem that might make the phone unusable just like in this case. To make a factory reset, boot into Recovery mode and tap on Wipe data.


2. Reboot your phone


Sometimes screen touching issue can be a temporary problem caused by an app of the system. Turn your phone off, wipe cache and leave it turned off for a few minutes and then turn it back on.

3. Screen protector


A screen protector and especially a protector made of glass can cause the problem. The screen protector can cause ghost touches which don’t allow the phone to recognize true touches.
