When people asked me what are some of the most requested features on Instagram, the first one that came to mind was the support for multiple accounts. Sure, you can log out and then log in using another account’s credentials. But the hassle of doing that many times isn’t worth it.
Luckily, Instagram has been updated for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad that allows Instagram users switch between their accounts within the official application. This means you will not need additional Cydia tweak to add this feature into your Instagram because it’s now part of the default functionality or switch back and forth using the traditional method.
With the new update, Instagram users can now add up to as many accounts as they like in the control panel, switch between accounts and still use the application as normal. In this tutorial, we will show you how to do that.
How to Add More Than One Account in Instagram
- Go to the App Store > Updates
- Download the latest version of Instagram
- Open up the app and go to your Settings
- Scroll down until you see the Log out option
- Now tap on Add Account
The same login screen will display as usual and now just enter your new username and password. Once Instagram verifies your account the app will show up as normal with your new timeline.
To switch between account, all you have to do is tap and holding on to he profile button located on the right side of the menu.
