Here is how you can troubleshoot this problem:

1-Hard Reset

If you find your iPad Pro unresponsive, this is one of the first things you should try. To do this, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together until you see the Apple logo.  When you see the logo, let the buttons go.

2-Update

Update your iPad to the latest version of iOS. Simply go to Settings > General > Software Update. You device will look for an update, if an update is found, please update your device.

3-Airplane Mode

If your issue is not resolved, try enabling AirPlane Mode (Settings > Airplane Mode) while it is charging.  This means turn on Airplane Mode, then charge, and when it is charged, turn off Airplane mode.

4-iCloud

Automatic iCloud back up may be causing this. Go to Go to Settings > iCloud > Backup, then turn off iCloud Backup.

5-Diagnostics

Go to Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics & Usage,  and select “Don’t send”.

6-Handoff & Suggested Apps

Try this tip. Tap Settings > General > Handoff & Suggested Apps and turn off both Handoff and Installed Apps.

7-Restore

Last resort, data corruption in your backup file may be causing this problem  You may try restoring your iPad via iTunes and set up as new. Before this step, it is important to back up your device. To do this, connect your device to your computer.  In iTunes, select Restore. After you complete this, your device will restart, then set up your device as a new device. Test to see if this fixes your issue. If it does, now you may restore your device from your backup.
