Several people have been reporting Siri problems after updating to iOS 7 on iOS devices, iPads, iPhones and iPods. More specifically, users reported problems are:
- Siri settings gone/missing
- Siri not talking/listening/understanding
- Siri not available
- Siri says, “Sorry, I’m having trouble connecting to the network” or “try again in a little while”.
If you are experiencing Siri problems on iOS devices running iOS 7, here is how to resolve your issues. Please after performing each step, check to see if the issue is resolved:
1.Please make sure that your iPad or iPhone is connected to the Internet using cellular data or Wi-Fi.. If you are having network issues, troubleshoot your connection. You may want to Reset Network Settings, by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
2.Tap Settings > General > Siri and make sure that Siri is ON.
3.Restart your device.
4.Disable Siri, turn off your device for a few minutes and turn back on, re-enable Siri by tapping Settings > General > Siri.
5.Reset your device by holding down the home button and the power button until you see the Apple logo.
6.Reset All Settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
