You can send a paid app to someone as a gift. To use this feature, open the App Store app on your iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod touch). Here is how:
Once you have found the app that you would like to gift, tap the share icon:
Tapp the Gift icon:
Sign in with your Apple ID. Type in the email address for the person you wish to send the App Store Gift.
You may scroll down and enter a note if you want. Pick the day you want the gift to be sent. You may also select a color theme for the gift. Press Next when you’re done and tap Buy to complete this gift process. Your giftee should receive your message and a link to the app to download and install.
