Can you get an iPhone, iPad or iPod virus?

We receive a lot of questions regarding iOS devices and viruses. While getting an iPhone/iPad/iPod virus is a legitimate concern, to date, there have been no viruses found to be affecting these devices; thus, you don’t need antivirus apps (there aren’t any antivirus programs at the App Store as of now). Unless your phone is hacked or jail-broken, you DO NOT and WILL NOT have any virus on the phone, iPod and iPad.
