How to rotate photos / images in iOS 5 without a third-party app

Photo editing capabilities are greatly improved with iOS 5. One of the new features of iOS 5 is the ability to rotate photos without having to install third-party photo editing apps. Here is how:

1. Open your Photos app


2. Tap on a photo you want to rotate


3. Tap edit


4. Tap the rotate button, this will rotate the photo in 90-degree increments to the left. You can tap the button multiple times to do what you want (if you want to rotate by something other than 90-degrees, you can do that by taping the Crop tool and twisting the photo left or right with two-fingers.)


5. Tap save
